Color safe products - You want to make sure you are only using color safe products on your hair. The products used to Tone your hair in Salon are not permanent and you will find yourself running back to the salon more often if your not on top of your home care.
Wash with cool water - Washing your hair with cool water will help to lengthen the life of your color. The cool water helps to seal the hair cuticle, keeping your color locked safely inside.
Avoid over washing - Each time you wash you will be stripping out some of your color. Try to keep your washing to a maximum or 2-3 times per week.
Protect - The process of coloring your hair causes damage. Make sure you are using styling products and treatments that counteract further damage. Heat protectants, treatments and molecular repair products are essential to avoid breakage
Gloss - Consider including a gloss or oil in your haircare routine. These products will add shine and vibrancy between salon visits without causing any additional damage.
Routine - Regular trims will help to maintain the health of your hair and promote longevity of your color.
